In June 1993 McGurk & Moore implemented a Quality Assurance System into the organisation. The company has found that the total quality approach to management not only provides the satisfaction of doing the job efficiently but it is also the least expensive way of doing it. It is an approach, which extends attitudes on quality and excellence to every aspect of the company’s activities and especially to the relationships with suppliers and sub contractors.

The policy itself makes sound commercial sense as legislation covering fitness for purpose and the performance of the product is increasing. In addition, it is apparent that there is growing public awareness of the quality of work required and that customers are showing preference to suppliers who have implemented a Quality Assurance System.
